Terms and Conditions
Oval Travel & Tour Sdn. Bhd.
By making a booking with Oval Travel & Tour Sdn. Bhd. (“Oval Travel”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following Terms and Conditions.
1. Bookings and Payments
1.1. All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by Oval Travel and/or its appointed suppliers.
1.2. A deposit or full payment is required at the time of booking, as specified for each travel package or service.
1.3. Prices quoted are subject to change without prior notice due to factors beyond our control, including but not limited to currency fluctuations, changes imposed by airlines, hotels, transport providers, or government authorities.
1.4. Full and final payment must be made within the stipulated deadline. Failure to comply may result in cancellation of the booking, with applicable cancellation charges imposed by suppliers.
2. Cancellations, Amendments, and Refunds
2.1. Cancellation and refund policies vary depending on the package type and third-party service providers involved. Details will be provided in the relevant package information.
2.2. All cancellation or amendment requests must be submitted in writing to Oval Travel.
2.3. Any refunds, where applicable, will be processed in accordance with supplier policies and may be subject to administrative or service charges.
2.4. No refunds shall be provided for any unused services, missed departures, or voluntary withdrawals once the journey has commenced.
3. Travel Documents and Compliance
3.1. It is the traveller’s sole responsibility to ensure possession of valid travel documents, including passports, visas, permits, health certifications, and any other documents required by the destination or transit countries.
3.2. Oval Travel shall not be held responsible for any loss, expense, delay, or consequence arising from incomplete, invalid, or rejected travel documents.
3.3. Travellers are required to comply with all immigration, customs, health, safety, religious, and local regulations applicable at the destination.
4. Changes and Amendments to Travel Arrangements
4.1. Oval Travel reserves the right to amend itineraries, accommodations, transport arrangements, or travel schedules due to operational requirements, supplier changes, force majeure, or other unforeseen circumstances.
4.2. Where changes are necessary, reasonable efforts will be made to provide suitable alternatives of similar value, subject to availability.
4.3. Any additional costs arising from changes requested by the traveller shall be borne by the traveller.
5. Liability and Responsibility
5.1. Oval Travel acts solely as an intermediary between travellers and third-party service providers, including airlines, hotels, transport operators, and local tour providers. We shall not be liable for any loss, injury, accident, damage, delay, or irregularity caused by such third parties.
5.2. Travellers are responsible for their own personal safety, conduct, belongings, and adherence to local laws throughout the journey.
5.3. Travel insurance is strongly recommended to cover medical expenses, trip cancellations, delays, loss of baggage, and other unforeseen circumstances.
6. Force Majeure
6.1. Oval Travel shall not be held liable for any delay, alteration, or cancellation of services caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of God, epidemics, pandemics, political unrest, war, strikes, or government restrictions.
7. Privacy and Data Protection
7.1. Oval Travel respects your privacy and handles personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws and our Privacy Policy.
7.2. By engaging our services, you consent to the collection, use, and processing of your personal information for travel, booking, and administrative purposes.
8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
8.1. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia.
8.2. Any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.
9. Payments and Cash Handling Policy
9.1. For transparency and security purposes, Oval Travel personnel are strictly not authorised to collect cash payments under any circumstances.
9.2. All payments must be made directly to Oval Travel’s official bank account based on the issued invoice, or directly to authorised suppliers where explicitly instructed.
9.3. Oval Travel shall not be held responsible for any losses, disputes, or claims arising from payments made to unauthorised individuals or accounts.
9.4. Official payment instructions will only be provided through issued invoices, official email correspondence, or verified communication channels.
