Yes. Many of our programmes follow a Guided DIY approach, offering structured guidance while allowing travellers and jemaah flexibility to manage selected parts of their journey independently.

No. Oval Travel does not sell or issue air tickets.

Oval Travel does not hold IATA accreditation and fully complies with industry regulations by not engaging in air ticket selling or issuance.

Flight tickets are arranged independently by travellers or pilgrims using IATA-accredited platforms or airlines of their choice.

Trip.com is an IATA-accredited flight booking platform and acts as the merchant of record for flight transactions. All ticket purchases are made directly between travellers/pilgrims and Trip.com.

If applicable, any referral or affiliate commission is paid by the booking platform and does not constitute ticket sales or additional charges imposed on pilgrims or travellers.

Yes. Oval Travel operates under valid Ministry of Tourism (MoT) and Ministry of Finance (MOF) registrations. We provide ground services, religious guidance, coordination, and support, while flights are arranged independently.

No. The Guided DIY model is an alternative option, designed for jemaah who prefer flexibility and fully understand their responsibilities. Traditional Umrah packages remain suitable for those who prefer fully guided arrangements.

All payments must be made directly to Oval Travel’s official bank account based on an issued invoice, or directly to authorised suppliers where instructed.

No. Oval Travel personnel are not authorised to collect cash payments under any circumstances.

Yes. We assist with visa applications and documentation guidance, subject to the requirements and approval of the relevant authorities.

No. Visa approval is at the sole discretion of the relevant authorities, and submission of documents does not guarantee approval.

Changes may be requested and are subject to supplier policies, availability, and possible additional charges.

As flights are booked independently, airlines or booking platforms are responsible for flight-related issues. However, Oval Travel will provide reasonable coordination support where possible.

Unused services or voluntary withdrawals are non-refundable, unless stated otherwise in the package terms.

Protection is supported through:

Travel insurance is strongly recommended, but unless stated, it is arranged separately by the traveller or pilgrim.
