Itinerary

  • After pickup from your hotel, your private Egyptologist guide will escort you to the Giza Plateau, home to the Great Pyramids of Giza, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Explore the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos, and learn about the fascinating secrets of pyramid construction. Capture memorable photos and, if you wish, upgrade to enter the Great Pyramid or take a camel ride in the Sahara Desert for the perfect panoramic view. Continue to the iconic Great Sphinx, the guardian statue with the head of a pharaoh and the body of a lion, followed by a visit to the Valley Temple, known for its ancient mummification secrets. Your journey then continues to Memphis, Egypt's first ancient capital, founded in 3100 BC by King Menes. Visit its open-air museum to see the colossal statue of Ramses II and the magnificent alabaster Sphinx. Next, head to Saqqara, the burial site of the Old Kingdom pharaohs and home to the Step Pyramid of King Djoser, the world's oldest large-scale stone structure. Explore ancient tombs decorated with vivid wall carvings that depict daily life and religious rituals from 4,000 years ago. Conclude the day at Dahshur, where you will discover the Bent Pyramid and the Red Pyramid, architectural predecessors to the pyramids of Giza. These pyramids are less crowded, offering a peaceful and rewarding experience. Return to your hotel in Cairo for an evening at leisure.

  • After breakfast, travel to Alexandria—the “Bride of the Mediterranean”—known for its Greek-Roman heritage and scenic coastal views. Begin your tour at the Ancient Roman Theater, a beautifully preserved amphitheater dating back to the 2nd century AD. Continue to the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, one of the Seven Wonders of the Middle Ages. This unique underground necropolis blends Egyptian, Greek, and Roman cultural influences. Marvel at the spiral staircase, stone sarcophagi, and detailed wall carvings. Your next stop is Pompey's Pillar, a towering red granite column standing 25 meters high and dedicated to Emperor Diocletian. Explore the ruins surrounding the site, including remnants of the Serapeum Temple. After a seafood lunch by the Mediterranean (optional), visit the landmark Bibliotheca Alexandrina, a modern architectural masterpiece built to honor the ancient Library of Alexandria. Explore the cultural museum, reading halls, and impressive galleries. End the day with a visit to the Citadel of Qaitbay, a 15th-century fortress built on the site of the famous Lighthouse of Alexandria, one of the ancient world's wonders. Enjoy panoramic sea views before returning to Cairo for overnight stay.

  • Start your final day with a visit to the Egyptian Museum, home to over 120,000 artifacts including royal mummies, treasures of ancient pharaohs, and the glittering collection of King Tutankhamun. Enjoy a guided tour through Egypt's fascinating history from the Old, Middle, and New Kingdoms. Continue to the historic Citadel of Salah El-Din, built in the 12th century to defend Cairo. Explore the stunning Mosque of Muhammad Ali, known as the Alabaster Mosque, and enjoy sweeping views over the city. Conclude your journey with a stroll through Khan El Khalili Bazaar, Cairo's most vibrant marketplace, perfect for shopping for souvenirs, spices, handmade crafts, and perfumes. Finally, enjoy a comfortable transfer to Cairo International Airport for your departure.
